Built for hikers and backpackers, The North Face's Frontier FUTURELIGHT Jacket prevents rain and sweat from ruining our trail time. The FUTURELIGHT waterproofing is not only breathable but also air permeable—allowing airflow to move more moisture vapor and keep us cooler—while the jacket also features underarm ventilation to keep us from sweating out. That prevents internal moisture build-up while keeping out external moisture with premium, seam-sealed waterproofing. The standard hood isn't as bulky as helmet-compatible models, making the Frontier a prime, 3-layer rain shell for the trail.
