I was hoping for very warm and toasty mittens. While these are very well made...they run small. Unfortunately, the thumb space was very tight making my thumbs very cold. I checked the inside sizing tag a couple times as I could not believe these were XL size. Here in Montana it can get very cold. These mittens will be "ok" in the warmer winter temps...say around 30 degrees but they will never be warm enough for temps below that. I was hoping I could use them for winter biking at temps in the low 20's or even into the single digits. Not happening. I would not purchase these again for the reasons stated above.

Great mittens!
You can feel the quality when putting these on. Can't wait to try them out this winter. Seems like they will be really warm so we shall see. Fit was a little tight so I went a size larger.
