Been wanting to buy this coat since last winter, but it was
honestly I have not worn it yet, but my past purchases of north face costs, jackets, and vests is very satisfying.

FINALLY a high-quality, long, lightweight, down coat for men
This coat is perfect in every way. So glad we found it! It hits my 6'1" husband right at his knees and keeps that former California boy, now midwesterner, warm and toasty. We've been looking for a truly long, warm coat that didn't weigh a ton for years! Hurray Northface!

Warm as toast with little else under it. Sleep in the snow!
Went out in 20 degrees with this coat and just a tee shirt under it and was toast! Super warm but this coat runs large and very long. Short guys should not buy this bad boy. It almost came to my ankles!

Hopefully Longtime Purchase
Jury still out - it is great - I bought as it had more coverage than the McMurdo - which I did also purchase - and thought it would add a bit extra warmth - not even a week in yet - but it definitely is not going back - it is entertaining as I am 5'6" in a medium - handy incas I ever forget pants

Would have loved more features
Overall I love it, it is so light and warm but there are some drawbacks. My wife got artizia puffer and it has more features like super puffed neck, zips inside of the jacket instead of just open pockets

Yes, without a second thought
Use it whenever i go outside on a cold New England day, especially on the windy beach. It keeps me warmer than any other expensive jackets that I used in past. A must have in cold windy places like where I live in New England

Truly warm in the prairie wind!
I got this parka because I needed something to withstand the prairie wind in the winter. Mission accomplished in terms of keeping me warm! Even when we are at windchills around 0 degrees I am toasty. However, I took a star off because I think a winter parka should have good storage for your bulky gloves, hat, etc. This parka only has two small slash pockets on the sides and a simple open compartment inside. In contrast, my Columbia parka which is half the price has big cargo pockets outside and two zippered pockets to put your hands in if you're warm enough to take off your gloves. I like to put my keys or my phone in those too. Additionally, there is a zippered pocket on the inside chest that I can put my sunglasses. There's no doubt the North Face parka is higher quality and warmer, but I feel like someone prioritized a sleek look over function.
