Why We Like The North Face Summit FUTUREFLEECE LT 1/2-Zip Pullover
Whether we are out for a casual hike or pushing for the summit, the Summit FUTUREFLEECE LT 1/2-Zip Pullover from The North Face is one of our favorite pullovers for getting after it. This pullover works great as a base layer on colder days or we use it as our only layer on hotter days. the half-zip construction allows us to customize our airflow, and the extended collar adds warmth. Thumb loops keep our sleeves in place as we are plunging our ice axes into the snow, and the absence of shoulder seams enhances our comfort when we are wearing a backpack.

Great Piece of Gear
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- S
I’ve had this for about a month and I’ve already bought two more. This is light, warm, and has a perfect for me. Even the next fits when fully zipped. I am 5’10” 165lbs and snagged a small. The zipper allows for easy on/off and I appreciate that there is no hood. The absence of a hood keeps weight and cost down yet it leads to easier layering. This shirt is fine on its own in 30° active pursuits and gets warmer if you cover it with a wind jacket. Covering the fleece will lead to a longer log because it is a very soft material that can snag when the inevitable bushwhacking begins.

Extremely please
Lighter but warmer than expected. Can tell it will be great for a mid layer out in the cold.

Super Light Weight Layer
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- XXL
I don't like heavyweight fleece layers, and when running errands in and out of stores, I like to wear a lighter jacket so I don't melt in a store. Future fleece pairs well with the lighter jacket to maintain a comfortable level of warmth for those situations. The same concept goes with my morning walking layers when temperatures drop into the teens or higher single digits. Future fleece is a versatile layer and I own several pieces with and without the hood. Future fleece is a comfortable option for me

Exceeded expectations!
Didn't really know what to expect since this was my first time buying "FUTUREFLEECE". Assumed it was like any other fleece but I am glad I was wrong. The material is much more lightweight allowing for easier layering. The material is deceiving thin but is as warm all the other fleece jackets I've owned. Definitely would recommend to friends, family or anyone looking for a lightweight fleece option.

Great fleece
I bought as a gift for my son-in-law. It fit perfectly and looked fantastic on him. He said it was the perfect weight.

A smart and balanced midlayer.
This is a perfect middle ground, And a perfect midlayer. Light and breathable enough to be comfy once the sun pops out on those early mornings. Snug and warm enough the make a difference so you don't have to through that true cold weather layer on.

I don't know if I would spend over $100 to buy it again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how comfortable the Summit LT 1/2-Zip is. It's super thin so definitely wear as a base layer when it's cold outside. I've had my FutureFleece for a little over a month and I already see it fraying on the belly area. The times that I've washed it, I washed it inside out and I always let it air dry. For the price I paid for it I would like it to be better quality.

this futurefleece is very nice material
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this futurefleece is very nice material -comfortable and well designed cut. bought specifically for another upper mid-layer for skiing in mid-winter. attempted using over the Summit Series Crevasse ½-Zip, but getting the layers to play nice wasn't working -there was no easy way to not have the sleeves not get turned around one another. i tried using it this way everyday for about a week before giving up on that particular layering system. don't get me wrong, this item is super nice, but until i am willing to try it as the base layer i am not sure where it fits into the system as layering on top of other items proved frustrating. no way i wasn't keeping the item as i am sure i will find it's place. sized up from the sizing table one level as i was looking for mid layer and it fits perfectly.

So light yet so warm!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best piece I've bought! It's super lightweight yet keeps me warm, perfect for traveling/hiking.I bought another crew neck after this. The only thing I would recommend is to wear another short sleeve inner layer as the fleece material could be a little bit scratchy on bare skin (just a little bit, no big deal).

Verstaile warmth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Future Fleece Pullover for trail hiking. It's great as a mid-layer on cool mornings under a lightweight jacket and as an outer layer when the morning sun's up.
