Why We Like The North Face ThermoBall Eco Snow Triclimate Jacket
Just like those old Choose Your Own Adventure books, The North Face lets us choose how to layer up with the versatile ThermoBall Eco Snow Triclimate Jacket. This system pairs a 2-layer waterproof shell with the popular ThermoBall insulated puffy jacket to mix and match for the best balance of weather protection and warmth for changing climates. We can zip both jackets together for cold and wet conditions that call for warm and waterproof layering, wear the ThermoBall jacket on its own in cool and dry conditions, or wear the shell solo for mild and wet weather. This Tri-Climate system gives us three season versatility and costs less than buying our mid layers and outer layers separately.

Bought this for my wife for the French alps. Despite the -6C / 20F it was fantastic with a merino base layer. The jacket is comfortable, warm, and not heavy or bulky.

Cute but...
Wish it was a little warmer. More of a rain jacket to me.

Disappointed
This jacket runs very small, so I had to return it. It seems like a nice, warm jacket. Disappointing that it didn't fit.

Nice fit
This jacket fits well with a sweater underneath. Snug fit for warmth without being tight. Pretty warm but probably wouldn't be okay in sub zero temperatures. Not impervious to wind. Wish it came in more colors.

Great for ski teens
Bought this for my daughter's ski season. She prefers jackets with the removable shell for when she wants to wear a sweatshirt vs. the liner.
