Common TNF let's do better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this pack as a day pack or a pack within a pack for multi pitch ice climbing. The load lifter strap on the right shoulder broke off at the seams the black accessory loops on the bottom also broken/pulled out at the seam's. I reached out to TNF and received no help. TNF did stand behind the product. For context it broke carrying puffy pants, puffy jacket and a thermos of hot tea. Load lifter just pulled out with minimal effort. They are probably not needed and I'll cut em off now, however for the price we all pay for gear it shouldn't do this.

A fine, utilitarian pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this pack for car to car in a day alpine missions. The kind of thing where 18L is too small for your layers, snacks, and rack but 35 is too much dead space and doesn't handle well. Overall I dig the Verto. It seems true to size, is a tube to put things in with very few unnecessary bells and whistles, fills nicely and compresses well. It does however have some strange features that only feel half finished like the hardpoints against the back panel but no corresponding points at the rollover to the front of the pack. I also wish the tool attachment was seperate from the compression strap but what can ya do, it works well enough all the same. It does what I need it to do relatively comfortably, looks good, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Not much more I can ask.

If there are two side water bottle pockets I should buy it a
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color matching is good, the waterproof material is also very good, but there is no mesh pocket on the side, you can take the water bottle on the side and feel that the stitching is not very strong, and it may be pulled and dropped in a short time.

Surprisingly Spacious Inside
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This pack is visually appealing in stark white* and seems to have all the accoutrements on the outside for alpine/winter activities. The interior space seems larger than its 27L rating. There is a nice sized hydration sleeve. The bottom is made of some sort of single layer material that might encourage you to put some protection on the inside if you were going to put anything sharp or pointy inside. I cut a desktop mousepad to size and glued it in with superglue. This wonderful, beautiful pack is SO spacious that, unless you are packing a rope or a helmet or something large inside, you could probably get by with the 18L model. The back panel is flexible with a defined fold mark, enabling you to easily fold it up into a larger pack and use it for peak bagging. *FWIW, get compliments at the gym. Highly recommend!

Disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TLDR: disappointing quality; you can do much better at this price point. I really wanted to like this pack. The design, on paper, is great -- a minimalist mountain sack with just enough structure but not too much. It's lightweight, stripped to the essentials, and incorporates some thoughtful design details. I've avoided TNF for a while, but after hearing that the brand had made a strong comeback in terms of quality (relative to other 'premium' brands), I figured I'd give it a shot. But the production quality is a joke. Apart from the thicket of loose threads (easily trimmed, after all), there were a handful of irregular construction details that had me concerned re: function and durability. One example: the shoulder straps were clearly asymmetrical to each other; the strip of webbing running down the center of the strap was stitched to the far outside of the left-hand strap, but stitched to the far inside of the right-hand strap, edging into the orange trim. Stuff like that. Also, to the design team: yeah, yeah we get it that all-white alpine packs are 'in' right now, but c'mon; we're not working with dyneema here, and there are other options that avoid the UV impacts of dark fabric and are much safer in low-vis conditions.

I would recommend this pack for winter sports.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size! Great for skiing and climbing. The water was was proof material on the bottom is great to keep dry when the pack is taken off in the outdoors.
