Fantastic dryer for boot liners! Don’t know if the UV light is marketing, but I have zero boot funk with over 80 days of riding with this. Note, I typically remove my liners even with this so that they fully dry out after a day on the slopes Background: picked this up as an upgrade to Dry Guy portable heater (no fan, only heating element) inserts that I’ve used the past 5 years. I liked the idea of airflow with low heat in order to not degrade the liner life. I have used this all over the Western US when driving to resorts or just riding my local mountains. I still use the dry guy if I’m flying, and my g/f or crew benefit from that on other trips. Pros + low heat as to not damage liners, personal preference but key point for me + has a shutoff timer (I use this religiously) + Good airflow + Relatively low profile, easy to stash in the car bag with extra clothes + no boot funk 😎 Cons - Standard plug only, not for cars. Perhaps I misread the original description but this was a surprise. - Unclear airline suitability - would not check this if flying. Given there is a fan, I would only consider bringing this if it was in my carry-on. And while the size isn’t prohibitive, I typically just throw my dry guy elements in a boot due to their smaller size and no moving parts. Neutral - slight fan noise, but I fully expected this given I bought this to generate airflow Backcountry support: 5/5 AWESOME. The first item showed up with a rattle/whirring from something being loose in the assembly - more than the fan noise. They setup an exchange and it’s been great since, ~80+ drying cycles. Hope this helps. I would buy this again and absolutely recommend backcountry due their CS

I'm still unclear on the power requirements-- can you use a power bank or USB wall charger (12v/2A+) to power this? What's the minimum current (amps) needed? Thanks.
