I have been using these boots for 12 months and probably have about 100 tours on them. The first pair only lasted me 1 month before they had to be replaced due to the internal routing for the BOA cable failing causing the BOA cable to become stuck, fusterating by Backcountry.com worked to warranty them and were able to get me replacements fast. The second pair have about 11 months on them not and they are basically shredded to pieces. The liners have worn badly against the stablizing plastic peices - that can be swapped for varying stiffnesess - to the point that the liner has a hole in it. There is also significant wear in the interior of the liner around my ankle due to frcition created primarily in walk mode. The boots are absolutley not too big for me, if anything I would in retrospect go up a half size to a full size, yet the ankle lock is not able to prevent significant wear to the liner. Finally, the overall build quality is poor and I the rubber sole is alreading starting to sepertae from the foam. More, over there really isn;t much to the sole of the board, its just a big brick of foam from liner to the rubber grips. As mentioned no crampons really it this boot well it overall the boots footprint is really big. Don't get me wrong this boot is probably still one of the best on the market however even touring in it for a few days you will likely see that the design lacks attention to detail. I believe thirtytwo could do more to enable splitboarding rather than just dressing up its resort boots and increasing the price tag.

Too small - their sizing is way off

Just like the other reviewer said, these boots are way too short for the size they indicate, they're at least 1-2 inches shorter than they should be - that's a lot! My front toes were completely curled up just to fit in this boot. Forget standing and walking, that was impossible. I wear size 9.5 and I already own 3 other pair of snowboard boots from the ~8 years I've been riding. I have normal feet, not wide or long or unique in any way. To find those 3 pair of good fitting boots that I already own, I've tried on dozens of boots from basically all manufacturers, and I've never had boots on my feet that were so short. I've never put on boots that I couldn't even take one step in because my toes were so cramped. Maybe if you lost your big toe somehow in an accident these would be good, but otherwise I suggest avoiding them.

Size 13 not 13.

I have size 13 feet. 30.5 cm to be exact(could be a 12.5 depending on brand), which 13s are supposed to be 31 cm. These boots are not 13s. I could barely get my feet in and once I did my toes were bent and still jammed up against the front. I took the liner out and the liner would stretch allowing my toes to lay flat but still fully jammed. They don't make larger sizes so had to go with another brand. Ended up going with Nirto Incline TLS in size 13. Those were true to size; slight room up front which I would guess to be exactly 0.5 cm. Still hold my feet tight.
