Why We Like The Thule EasyFold XT eBike Carrier
Thule's EasyFold XT Bike Carrier offers a fully foldable, and removable, two-bike hitch rack that is as convenient as it is sturdy. Adapting to the ever-changing bike landscape, the EasyFold XT's high-load capacity allows transport of e-bikes and heavy mountain bikes, while the mounting of said heavy bikes is made easy through detachable bike arms with lockable Thule AcuTight torque limiter knobs that click when optimal torque is reached.
Thule made sure to give a large distance between the wheel holders to accommodate bikes with large wheel bases, as well as a small, foldable platform that you can stand on for improved accessibility. Not to mention that you can still access the trunk when the bikes are mounted thanks to a smart foot pedal tilt that lowers them horizontally out of the way when you need to grab gear. Plus, you can lock your bikes to the bike rack and your bike rack to the receiver with the included Thule locks when you need to get gas or a bite to eat.

bike rack
Heavy, but other than that it nicely meets our needs for transporting our electric bikes. Keep it on the back of your car or truck, not recommended for a trailer.

Excellent purchase.
I bought this for my partner, Anette. The rack is very easy to install and the ramp makes it easy to load the bike. All videos of other racks show sone strong, young guy lifting the bike onto the rack. This rack makes it easy. The triple locks are an added plus.

I like it!
Chose the Thule EasyFold because my perfectly fine Kuat rack could not carry the weight of my new e-bike. The good: hold the wrist that of two e-bikes. Has the removable ramp to help load heavier e-bikes. Does not scratch the bikes. Holds very securely. Has a built in lock. When removed from the hitch it is very compact and stores really easily. Downsides? It’s pricey. It really sticks far outside the back of the car (does not fold up against the car like most other hitch racks) so you need to be really careful backing up, parking, etc. Also wish the ramp attached more securely.

EZ is EASY
Just used for the first time...meandering in rush hour traffic on I-95, from rural MD to the Pocono Mountains. Easy to install, connect two heavy Specialized e-bikes, and they travelled flawlessly on the back of my pick up. A good investment.

Sturdy carrier
I'm happy with the purchase. It is sturdy but a little heavy to mount. Would be good if it also folded upwards so it is low profile. Currently, it sticks out even when in storage mode.

Very poor design
The bolt to tighten the rack to the receiver stripped. There is no fix for this small issue. The entire rack needs to be replaced. Ended up cutting off the faulty post assembly and welding on a proper 2" post (as did another person that I know). Really poor deign!

Reliable, easy to use
I purchased this bike rack to use with my new Toyota Highlander and it works great. It's easy to install and the bikes stay put. Well-suited for a quick evening ride or a long trip. I have no worries, the bikes will be safe and secure.

Best All Around Simple to Load and Unload Bike Rac
Love this bike rack. This rack is very easy to load and unload bikes quickly. It is also rated for two heavy E bikes and comes with a ramp to load these heavy bikes - love it. The ability to get into the hatch with bikes on, plus the ease of removing the rack and rolling it away make this the all time best bike rack for those with a trailer hitch.

Bikes will not fit
It was very easy to put on my hitch. Then I put the ramp on and preceded to load the first of my 2 Pedego Boomerangs. The ramp worked ok. Then I notice a problem with my pedals fitting. It took me about 10 minutes to get this bike secure. When loading my next boomerang I immediately saw a problem. There was not enough room to load because the pedals hit the other bike when using the ramp. Would not recommend for boomerang ebike.

Works great!
Purchased to carry two Aventon e-bikes, each weighing 63 lbs. Other than needing to have a hitch installed, this rack is easy to install and remove from my vehicle. Loading and securing these heavy bikes is also simple. It comes with a ramp to help get the bikes up, but I don’t need to use that (at least not yet!).
