Very Nice Upgrade!
After weeks of research, I chose this bag as a replacement for my old Solo backpack that I had for nearly 8 years. After about two weeks of use it has shown its usefulness and resilience during my daily commute. The storage capability is nearly perfect for what I bring daily. Here’s to another 8+ years of use!

Versatile
I am really enjoying my new backpack. I wanted something for weekend travel and it's great. There's so many pockets for things. I love the water proof pocket. And the water bottle holde is the best I've ever seen! It's so stretchy that it holds my Yeti. I would def recommend this backpack

Thule Fan For Life
I was in the market for a new backpack after my last Thule (which lasted 10 years of school and travel) was retired. I tried two other brands which were great but I was missing the organizational pockets. I found that I really need lots of pockets of different sizes for my daily work bag and that EnRoute was the perfect bag for me. I tried the other 2 brands for a week each, but compared to a week with the EnRoute it was far and away the winner. I know this brand is worth the money and will last long, I don’t know why I ever tried to find a replacement for my last Thule bag outside of this brand!

Great features
This is our second Thule backpack. After my husband used the first one for 15+ years I bought the new one for my son. It is durable and high quality product.

Everything I wanted in a backpack
When looking for a new backpack, I was particular in my desired features. First, as a commuter, I wanted pockets on the fronts and sides that would be easily accessible on the go. Second, as a student, I wanted the inner organization to facilitate use of the backpack contents. Third, as someone with chronic shoulder pain, I wanted the backpack to be ergonomic and comfortable. My prior backpack was much loved but could not be repaired. In its newest iteration, however, the designers had removed many of the smaller pockets in the main laptop compartment. In addition, other backpacks currently on the market have internal organization pockets in smaller compartments toward the front of the pack. Such design decisions created some problems in my eyes. First, if I pull out my laptop, I will usually want to also retrieve a mouse, charging cable, pencil, notepad, etc. Thus, moving smaller pockets away from the main compartment where the laptop is stored means I will have to open and close multiple zippers when retrieving and/or stowing the contents (inefficient). Second, loading the internal organization pocket fully when it’s located in a front compartment can pull the front of the pack forward, especially when the backpack’s main compartment is also open. This creates a situation where, if the flap flops forward, the contents of the internal organization pocket can fall out. The pocket placement also shifts the pack’s center of gravity away from the person, which is not ideal when carrying the backpack for longer periods of time. To make a long story short, the Thule EnRoute addresses all my concerns. The placement of the organization panel in the main compartment not only facilitates easy retrieval/storage, but also ensures most of the weight stays close to the body. The back panel and straps are comfortable, and I appreciate the elastic bands that let you stow away excess strap. Finally, the interesting green color helps people to locate me when I am meeting them for the first time on rotations, interviews, etc. There are other thoughtful features that make this pack a joy to use but this review is already too long as is, so I will stop here and suggest you peruse the Thule website. If pressed, my only concerns would be 1) not having a waist strap (but this can be easily addressed by buying one separately and adding to the backpack) and 2) this backpack setting my standards so high that I would be concerned if Thule goes out of business. I hope I will never have to replace this backpack, but if I do, I will be looking to Thule again. Thank you to Thule for continuing to pioneer and elevate standards in modern backpack design.

Great organizer, strong materials, well made
Easy to use organization for a work/life bag. Simple clean style makes it easy for the office. The ‘life’ section is great for gym clothes, lunchbox, etc. Very comfortable to wear also. Only complaint (very small) is I wish the ‘Work’ section of the pack unzipped a little further to allow a bigger opening for items at the bottom. This is a very small compliant and would encourage anyone who needs a work/life bag with low key appearances to buy one.

Great all around bag
I use it as my everyday carry and love all of the netted pockets on the exterior. 2 for water and one upfront for dirty clothes is plenty to store stuff you don't want inside your bag. The interior has plenty space. I'd say the only flaw is that the interior pockets are a bit floppy and possibly has too many pockets. I like the sunglasses hardcover up top to store your glasses in.
