Helium Platform XT 2 Bike Rack

A perfect replacement

This was a gift to my husband to replace our steel framed hitch rack that was rusting. The old one was very heavy and wasn't easy to put on/ take off. This one is much lighter and folds up more compact. Hubby gives it 5 stars!

Platform rack is the way to go.

First camping trip with two mountain bikes on the back, 80 miles an hour, no problem. Rack is tight. Highly recommended

Works for a while

Design is perfect. Quality is terrible. I loved this rack when I first got it. I did everyday and load and unload bikes on it multiple times a day. All the ratcheting teeth and parts are plastic and they wore out after about 3 months of use. Thule sent me a replacement but the locks didn't work on the replacement and the teeth just wore out again.

I've used it several times

I bought the Thule Helium as an upgrade from our older rack. It holds bikes by the wheels only, with no frame contact. I find it to be well constructed and has great features. I like the security of the hitch attachment. Overall, it's light enough to mount and dismount easily and load and unload bikes quickly. It's not the least expensive, but I feel it's a good value, especially for high-end bikes.

Great rack!

I bought a month ago. East to use and very stable for two mountain e-bikes. Compare to one-up which is more expensive and more difficult to use. Great design work!

This is an excellent easy to use bike rack.

I have found this bike rack to be lighter and easier to put my bike in a secure rack while riding on bumpy dirt roads. Love this easy to use secure rack

Great features

Really a fine product and much easier for a septuagenarian to load onto a tray rack than lift up unto my Yakima and bungee down secure.

Nice and light as well as easy to use

I purchased this rack because I didn't like how heavy the T2 Pro XTR was. I also like the dual arms to secure my bike to the rack. I have used only one of the bike trays and left the other tray in the box in order to reduce the weight on the rack even more. This rack is very easy to move around and secure to the car.

Amazing Rack

I've had this rack for a couple of years an absolutely love it. Super easy to use, perfect for mountain bikes and I can easily take the rack on and off my vehicle.

Love this hitch rack

Currently using this rack right now for our trip to the desert from Co. Super simple to function and reasonably light weight for a rack like this. Can't get easier to put bikes up on and securely holds the bikes in place. A definite winner, get one when you can.
