Almost exactly what I wanted

I've used it several times

I've been using it about 2 months now. The biggest strengths are the layout of compartments, ease of organization, and comfort. I understand some people's frustration with the hinge/lock mechanism for the main compartment. It's a little annoying but once I learned the right way to pull it out, it's not an issue anymore. I especially love that the handles are very tight against the body of the bag so it doesn't get stuck on things when I'm putting it in and out of my car or closet. I think the biggest thing I would change about this backpack is weight. Coming from a 10 year old Osprey that weighed basically nothing, this backpack can feel really heavy with just a laptop and iPad. But, again it is comfortable. There's no perfect backpack, sadly, but this one checks all my most important boxes.

Not comfortable at all!

I hunted for months for a work backpack, and was so hopeful this would be the one! It was SO uncomfortable!! Would not recommend.

Excellent backpack

I recently purchased this fine backpack after doing much research. I travel a lot but sometimes I don’t need my bigger backpack (I won’t mention the brand) This one is just right. It fits everything I need for short trips and fits under my seat. I like all the compartments and easy access. Looking forward to many years of service.

I loved my old Thule backpack, which lasted a long time. The new one is an even better design, but for traveling back and forth to work, I love it. I've also used my backpacks for travel. It holds up well, and I never had issues with anyone pickpocketing me, etc.

Great for carrying multiple laptops/tablets

Really happy overall by the general quality but some pockets have less usability than the previous version and the zipper to access the main compartment is not waterproof and not protected under the flap like it was before.

So far husband loves it

So far my husband loves this bag. Lots of pockets for traveling and laptop use. Fingers crossed it last a long time.

Well thought out backpack but color not as expecte

I bought this as a backpack that could hold a decent amount of items for travel, but is not a "travel" backpack that is designed to carry a ton of clothing or shoes. I originally bought the Nutria color thinking it was caramel-khaki like you see in work wear. It's actually an ugly green yellow that is not attractive at all. The product photography does not match at all. I'd avoid that color completely and purchase black because it is unclear what color the green would be. The pockets are well thought out and I think the way to access to main compartment is really clever. The main compartment is a large open compartment with 3 folio like sleeves attached to the back of the bag. You could fit two laptops and a tablet into these sleeves and they are accessible through the zipper on the back or by flipping the the top back and unzipping the compartment there. The main compartment is accessible from one side through a side opening zipper that reminded me of photography backpacks. The other side was a long storage compartment with several stash pockets and a zippered compartment, which was surprising and really well thought through! The top zippered compartment on the top flap was smaller than I expected and would really function more as a quick stash spot for a phone when going through security than a long term storage location. The sunglasses holder is really just for a pair of sunglasses without a case so not ideal in my opinion. There is a simple front pouch that went the full length of the front.

Great way to carry your office on your back...

Able to pack almost anything you need to be productive in any locale. Sturdy, spacious and utilitarian. Hard to imagine any improvements to this design.

Best bag I’ve owned

I have had Thule bags for 14 years now, along with bags by Cotopaxi, Osprey, etc. This is the best day to day bag I have found. Organization is next level, and the support makes a bag full of MacBook Pro 15, books, chargers, snacks, etc etc feel light. Bonus is that it’s way more stylish than older versions.

Two trips broken buckle

Two work trips and the center strap buckle is broken.
