Good Value
I bought one for a recent camping trip and it was very useful to store our bulkier items. Putting onto the cars crossbars takes about 5 min, not quite as fast or easy as the higher end models, but you get what you pay for. Little to no noise on the highway. One down side that should be mentioned is assembly was a pain and requires two people or one person with some patience. All and all it’s a good value. It gets the job done for a decent price with no extra bells or whistles.

Cheaply made crap
Expensive crap. Difficult to put together. Easily could have come assembled constantly have problems with one of the locks. I’m afraid of a rock hits it. It will just split wide open. Not worth the money. I should’ve bought a budget brand same thing for less money. Thule It’s not the quality product they used to be.

Exceptional product
Impressive product, realizing how much engineering it took to make this product fit a curved vehicle roofline and also how everything in my car fit inside made me supremely grateful. Thank you Thule team!

Great for Weekend trips
I’ve used the sidekick for one weekend trip and it was great! The widest point is not the bottom so I was not able to store my hard gear in it, but was able to rearrange my gear and put all my soft sided gear in it. Assembly takes 2 people so be prepared. Installation is a piece of cake. It rained the whole way up on my first tip and all my gear was dry and clean upon arrival. The sides are flexible so be carful when you lock the case as the locking mechanism can turn but not catch.

Product amazing. Packaging not so good. And
The overall products are always amazing. The issue we had was that the packaging came and looked like it had been beat up to hell and back. Luckily the item wasn’t damaged the other issue is you need to work on your email system? It tells you that below is the tracking information but there is no below and no tracking information. This is the third product that I’ve ordered in the past month and they all have done the same thing I would really like to know where my item is you shouldn’t have one of your team email themselves and they can see that it doesn’t work work

This thing went threw my garage and got severed in two pieces just needed a little love and the locks replaced and it is mint.

Not worth the money
This is no better quality than any generic roof top box. You are definitely paying for the name. The connections to the rack are little more than bolts. the locks are cheap and the mechanism to prop up the top, always seems like it is on the verge of breaking...

Cheap materials, cumbersome to attach.
I bought this a month ago to put on a Jeep JL. This unit compared to other Thules I have owned is made from cheap materials, catches too much wind on the highway and is a pain to put on and take off. Don't buy this box you'll end up returning it.
