Not impressed
I love thule. This time I was let down. I explained exactly what I needed. Thule representative suggested this and this and it didn’t work. I payed for shipping to and from before talking to the right person who told me the part I’m looking for Thule mo longer makes. This rendered my old rack useless.

Great Product
After changing vehicles I purchased this adapter kit, very easy to install, had little to no issues and they seem robust enough to handle the load of securing my Kayaks.

excellent, perfect fit...however
I bought the rack a few weeks ago to fit my new 2021 Toyota Tacoma, the fit is perfect. My only complaint is the instructions make no mention of this kit or in the website or the dealer. The instructions vaguely mention some modifications may be needed to the bedliner. It was only after some digging that I was able to find this kit, once I did it all fits perfectly

Garbage Aluminum with a Steel Bolts
Trying to install these is a nightmare. There’s no clearance if you bed has the factory liner, the brackets are aluminum and the bolts steel so they strip out at the slightest thing, and being aluminum and leveraged as they are with three opposing forces will probably break under load or under stress. Beyond disappointed, but now I’m stuck with this rack. Thanks Thule for your useless componentry.

Bought these for Tacoma but did not fit my Thule xsporter 422 rack.

They fit and allowed me to reuse my existing rack
I had this rack on a 2012 Tacoma. Upgraded to a 2020 Tacoma. This new adapters fit perfectly and allowed me to reuse my existing rack on the new truck....

Works Perfectly
Works as planned BUT, I wish this would've been addressed on the website/drop down for a Tacoma 2017 and beyond. I started to install and realized i needed this adapter.
