Why We Like The TIME Speciale 10 Pedals
From pounding down black diamond descents to ripping singletrack at high speed, when we are on the bike, we trust our TIME Speciale 10 Pedals to give us a stable platform and to keep our feet locked in. The Speciale 10 Pedals feature an aluminum body and a steel spindle for durability and come with TIME's ATAC cleats so they are ready to go out of the box. This pedal is dual-sided and has four grip pins per side for extra foot security. The Speciale 10 Pedals comes in two sizes, with the small being suitable for trail and enduro riding and the large being suitable for downhill and enduro riding.

I love TIME mtb pedals
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've been riding TIME mtb pedals for 20 years, since the first time I got frustrated with mud-packing on other brands. I've never had an issue with TIME (except when I've bashed into a log or root, and gotten wood stuck in the spring). The durabilty is good considering how often I bash them into something on the trail. I have never used the platform design for riding unclipped downhill which is (i think) one of the intended purposes, but the 2 reasons I continue to get the platform are 1) it works great for getting started on an uphill so you can get some momentum while trying to get the cleat inserted, & 2) I can use these with regular shoes while riding around the neighborhood with my kids. I will continue using these pedals and have even put these on my gravel bike.
