There are Two Types

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

There's nothing wrong with these ice-axe pick covers... I've used them before. They aren't as durable as the hard plastic tip covers. But these cover the teeth as well as the tip, which keeps the teeth on pack-retained picks from sawing through backpack fabric. Yeah... One thing to note, however. There are two types, though they are both apparently identified with the same part number. One is for arrest curved picks. And one is for reverse-curved picks. I got lucky and was shipped one of each, which was what I needed. But if buying these, it might be a good idea to note which type you're wanting.
