Why We Like The Wilderness Snowshoe
The Tubbs Wilderness Snowshoe was built for putting fresh trails through snow-covered hills and blanketed forests. A lightweight deck increases float through powder as we make our own path through the woods, and a convenient heel riser helps reduce fatigue when we're climbing up steep hills en route to scenic vistas. And when all that powder turns to an icy trail, the Wilderness' toe crampon and side rails ensure we remain upright and secure across variable snow conditions.

Love my Tubbs!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- ordered the 25" Wilderness
I already owned an older pair of Tubbs snowshoes and was pleased with them, but wanted to upgrade to a newer model. I ordered both the Tubbs Wilderness (25") and Tubbs RDG (22"). Both are great snowshoes, and if I could justify keeping both, I would, however, I decided to keep the RDG and return the Wilderness. The RDG boa adjustment and shorter length worked better for my needs.
