Warm base layer, great for a cold winter outdoors

Last Gen was better
Last gen base 3.0 feel thicker and probably same amount of warmth. Just giving my real world experience using these daily. Purchased the 4.0 in end of 2024, thinking they would be warmer and ticker than last Gen 3.0. I was wrong. Waffle weave of what ever you call it, it is tiny compared to the 3.0. Maybe not important.

Well made
Purchased for tactical operations. Well made product with great heat retention. Used during cold weather operations and these extended the operational time of individuals, making relief operations an easier task. May be too warm in an active environment.

More than what I expected
I bought this because I wanted some super warm clothes while being out in the cold for extended periods of time. I haven't tried with exercise yet. But, they don't seem so bulky that I couldn't.

Very warm!
I work outside at night with many nights reaching below freezing and this in conjunction with the matching shirt keeps me very warm. I highly recommend for anyone spending prolonged periods outside in freezing or near freezing temperatures.
