I personally have mixed reviews on these bindings. I was riding in Union's Juliets before the Trilogies and had absolutely zero issues, so as a result, decided to stick with Union. I've been riding with these new bindings for almost a month now and I am surprisingly disappointed. For reference I am a size 8.5 (and use Vans High Standard boots), and went with a size M for my bindings. If you are a size 9, I would recommend sizing up as 8.5 definitely feels like the largest the medium would accommodate. I spent some extra time adjusting the ankle and toe straps to ensure that they would fit just right, which is what I would expect. The Pros: These DO make riding feel like butter, they are slightly stiffer than my previous bindings, and I paired them with a board with a medium-stiff flex. So the responsiveness was a noticeable difference, and I am a fan of the pairing. And lets just say it, these look sick. The pastel colors are so vibrant - I get tons of compliments on them. The Cons: I'll preface by saying that I instruct snowboarding full time, drop cliffs, hit jumps/side hits, ride mach-10 through trees, occasionally hit the park, and boot pack when I can. So I am all over the mountain and certainty put these through the ringer. There's a little screw that holds the toe strap in place on the inner side that just fell off, resulting in my toe strap falling off while I was boot packing on a snowy day. Fortunately, I saw the strap fall and was able to retrieve it, and there is a second "pin," that holds the toe strap in place, so it got me down the mountain and through some powder, but it certainty isn't secure. The pin pops out with a relatively small amount of force. Luckily the repair shop had extras of these screws, so I was saved. However, in addition to this, I cannot tell you how many times I've looked down to see that my toe strap has completely slipped out of place. This happens on both bindings, probably about 1/4 runs. When I first bought the bindings, I thought that maybe the toe strap just needed to be worn in as it was pretty stiff right out of the package, however, as it has begun to form a little more to the shape of my boot, I haven't seen any improvements with it shifting. I am still working to fix this issue, but it doesn't seem to matter how much I tighten the strap, how I adjust the length of the straps, where I place them on my feet, or how much they break in and begin to mold to my boot more, but I've tried enough options at this point that I feel inclined to write a review on it. All in all, I am committed to still trying with these bindings, but at this point, I'm not convinced that it's user error. I've had consistent issues with these and just believe that there are better options out there for the price. I'm tempted to try swapping out the toe straps on my Juliets to the Trilogy if possible, as I have never had an issue with them.
