Tested by a pro for optimal performance, the UnParallel TN Pro LV Shoe is our go-to on powerful routes and problems. With an upper forefoot rubber patch and a rear slingshot rand, this pair gives our toe and heel hooks a secure bite, helping us maintain tension when horizontal, while the rounded toe is forgiving through dynamic sequences. Like the old Hiangles but better
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've been searching for something that fits my feet just like my old Hiangles did. I've been wearing the purple synthetic Hiangles and also the pink leather Hiangles in size 6 and 6.5 for a while now. My street shoe is generally a 6, and I bought these in 6.5 (women sizing) and also have a narrow forefoot and heel. I'm really glad I took a chance on the TN Pro LV because they have all the minor modifications that I really was looking for in my old shoes. These feel not as stiff and a bit more sensitive than the Hiangles. I could really flex my foot and power through my toes with precision. Heel cup stays on snug and does not cut into my ankles. Right out of the box, they were comfortable, no hotspots and I was able to climb a full session with these. I would buy the TN Pro LV over and over again. I just hope Backcountry keeps these in stock!
