Runs very small.
- Size Bought:
- 8
Other reviews reporting that these run small are not lying to you. I ordered a full size up from my old Vasque Sundowners, may they rest in peace after 30 years, and the new models are still very small. Not just "not broken in" small; they are "These will never fit" small. Squished toes just standing up in them. I would suggest purchasing these from a bricks and mortar store, so that you can be sure about sizing. Though, returning them via on-line support was quick, easy, friendly, and professional.

My first pair lasted 30 years! I’m looking forward to using these new Vasque Sundowners for another 30.

bought my second pair.... after 32 years
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 10.5
- Height:

- Weight:
- 120
No joke. I bought my first pair my senior year of high-school when my brother worked for Erehwon (remember Erehwon?!?). Two years ago, after some big Colorado hikes I decided it was time for a new pair, mainly becuase as I've gotten older my feet have "spread" a bit and I now wear almost a full size larger. So, it wasn't that my original Sundowners fell apart (they were still supporting my feet) but that I needed more room. I got the suede pair this time around, and they are just as great. I hike multiple days a week near my home, and try for a few big trips a year. This past year was the highlands in Scotland. My sundowners were great. Two things I recommend to people who are complaining about toes. Yes, these boots can be a bit snug initially. It's always a good idea to plan some toe-box room and order up a size with these. These boots will conform to your feet over time because they are leather. Which is FANTASTIC for fit and durablility. (see above re: 32 years). Also, I have always put a pair of Superfeet soles in my boots, Sundowners included. I believe these help not just with support, but in keeping my feet from sliding too far into the toe box on decents.
