Very good but not great

This is the first piece from Velocio that I purchased. After seeing a lot of their work in person, I have always liked the brand and their pieces look nice. These are not their top of the line shorts and I expected the quality to be high but lake some of extra details. And this is the case. These are very functional and have a very comfortable Velocio pad. The reason I am giving these 4 out of 5 stars is that the wide elastic around the thighs is very snug. My thighs are fairly skinny yet these give me the sausage look as they squeeze that area. Because the leg ends are tight, pulling them on takes a little more care. I don't notice the snugness when riding. I followed the Velocio sizing guide and the overall fit (outside of the leg en being snug) is good.
