Great Trainer with Zwift Cog
I have had this trainer for about 2 months. It's been game changer for my indoor trainer. Much better than a traditional on wheel trainer. Love the ability to integrate with Zwift! Very well built! Wahoo makes great products!

First smart trainer. No issues
First smart trainer. No issues setting up—seems well built. Have about 300 miles in first two weeks. Quiet. Stable. I really like it.

Cumbersome and low quality
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
In my case the flywheel seized up for two different reasons. First it stopped due to gunk accumulating inside the flywheel--black, fine magnetic dust. Removing the flywheel to clean and grease it was a huge, messy hassle. It still doesn't work right. The motor will bog down sometimes and stop the unit completely. Once it seized and I tried to push through it and it janked my back. Firmware updates, etc, don't help. The design itself is annoying, in that if your household uses bikes with different cassettes, you'll have to replace them in a very time-consuming way to share the device. We have 10, 11 and 12 speed bikes that go on the trainer, but the Wahoo is dedicated to one cassette. Conventional trainers make a lot more sense. I can't wait to drop this heavy thing off a parking garage, it's an irredeemable piece of junk. Greatly prefer my Tru Trainer rollers or old Saris smart trainer.

An affordable smart trainer that’s fun
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Initially, I was going to settle for just your basic trainer until I stumbled upon the Kickr Core. You can connect to Zwift and even works with my Wahoo Element Roam computer. I used the SRAM 10-speed cassette off of my spare wheel set and the Core fits my road bike perfectly. My one piece of advice is make sure you get a good fan; you’re going to need it.

Great acquisition!
I loved my smart trainer! Despite some usage marks, cosmetics, it is working very well! It is far better than my old Elite trainer. The silent operation is also great!

It’s a great machine and
It’s a great machine and I really like it especially using Kinomap. Make sure though that you have a wrench or tool that is specific to your cassette so that you can install it. It’s heavy, so you may need someone to hold it up while you put the legs on.
