Works! No drops.
I was initially a bit unclear if I was connected wirelessly or thru hardwire as Zwift connect icon is the same for either connection. Help desk indicated it will default to hardwire if available…. and seems to be the case.

No Performance Improvement
I use ANT+ with an extension cable from my desktop computer to within 1 inch of the BT signal from my Kickr V-6. There is no signal interference to the computer. Yet when steaming Rouvy the wattage readings a very erratic. Adding the Kickr direct connect made no improvements with the erratic wattage readings.

Definite improvement over WiFi
I can't tell you for certain that this is more reliable than WiFi; many things can go wrong on a home network that appear to be a WiFi issue. That said, I haven't had an unexplained drop since switching to this. What is certain is that pairing with Zwift is much faster and more reliable with this than all the other methods. I recommend this upgrade based on that alone.

Unlocks race mode
Very cool. Unlocks race mode on the trainer. As the name suggests, provides a direct connection to your computer or your network. Eliminates any lag between your input and what happens with your avatar on screen. Very helpful for group rides or races online.

No more drops
While it doesn't connect to my wireless modem as advertised, it does work flawlessly connected directly to my laptop. Only have three stars due to connection issues with wireless modem

Set up as easy just
Set up as easy just click it in, Run a cable from your router to the link and go. The power: As long as the Internet strength by your cable provider is good it will keep you from lagging however, I still get glitches every once in a while. I’m not sure that it’s worth the money I spent. Solution: Wahoo, you need to just provide a Wi-Fi link in the unit. Get rid of the kicker direct Connect.

The Way Life Should Be
Connection... Boom, just like that (MK 🎸fan🙂). Daily Zwifter who does not desire missing a 🥁 beat (…..EVER... well unless intended). It eases the pain for all the Zwift shortcomings.
