Why We Like The weBoost Drive Reach Overland
Because we like to find the most remote places to call home for a while, we have our rig equipped with the weBoost Drive Reach Overland. As we leave civilization behind, we watch our signal bars stay steady thanks to the signal-amplifying antenna mounted to our roof rack. The antenna's collapsible design folds down when we're rolling under low-hanging branches or pulling back into our garage at home, while the military-standard build holds strong against our rugged adventures.

Hardwiring is the way to go!
Installation was easy. Hardwiring was the way to go. Immediate improvement in range for cell and hotspot.

Managing expecations
The thing does work. I live in a semi-rural area on the western slope of Colorado. Cell service is mediocre to decent in the frontcountry around here, and there are plenty of backcountry areas nearby where it is quite weak or nonexistent. If you are camping in or driving through a place with a weak signal, this thing will help hold onto the signal, no doubt. There is one place in particular, on a paved state highway in the valley where I would always have calls drop when I go around this one corner, and that does not happen anymore when I'm using this thing. However, do not purchase expecting it to increase your range by a huge margin. It seems to add 1 bar at most, which is usually enough to make calls, use data etc. in places where the signal is very weak but not completely absent. If you are camped at 11,000 feet up some long remote drainage where service is nonexistent, it does nothing. One thing the website doesn't really highlight is that your phone needs to be at least 18" away but not more than 36" from the interior antenna. You may not really have full-vehicle, and certainly not full-campsite coverage. But that's kinda why you go camping in the first place. All that being said, I'm happy I bought it and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it but on the fence. But do keep your expecations realistic.

Honeymoon phase
We purchased the Overland system a couple of weeks ago, have only really had one opportunity to use it so far and honestly was not as impressed as we had hoped, but it was only the first time out. I felt we were not necessarily to far outside of cell towers, but in a mild, open canyon area. We want to see how the next couple of weeks go before we really see where we stand with it.

A Well Designed Product
Easy install, easy use once set up. Well made parts and a comprehensive kit with everything I needed. As far as I know it made my latest road trip one where I almost always had signal. I'd definitely buy it again if I needed another. Im impressed by the durability, detailed instructions, and well thought out accessories and hardware. My only two complaints are 1) The included mount that allows you to lower and raise the Antenna from flat to 45 to 90 degrees is nice, but lacks the ability to be mounted on the side of a roof tent or roof rack in such a way that the mount's base is perpendicular to the ground and the antenna can still go from flat to raised. Unless in awkward positions. An alternate version should be available for mounting outward on the sides of the vehicle but in such a way the antenna can rest pointing forward / back and be raised into the upright position. I am waiting on a fabricator to design a specialty mount to correct this short coming. 2) There is really no way to know for sure the antenna is helping or if its coincidental that you have signal. But on a 9 day, 3500~ mile road trip I only lost signal in some of the absolute most remote valleys I entered including the Chisos Basin of Big Bend.

Meh, consider your build before purchasing.
I wish there were more of an option to customize the items in the kit. I need more side feeds for the antenna, and there is no mention here that the extension cable nut isn't the same size as the antenna's nut. It obviously won't fit through the metal. Side feeds are out of stock on multiple platforms and not on sale here. No way to order a shorter "extension" cable to properly fit the build.

We Boost the most reliable signal cell booster
Excellent quality materials and workmanship. The variety of mounting applications and sealed connections will ensure positive signal results. The folding antenna mount renders low ceiling access with a simple release and locking knob. Installation and operating the unit is user friendly regardless of your skill set. It's worth more than the retail price, it's been an excellent investment and cell signal booster.

Great
This is my 2nd Weboost - I needed it for off road and overlanding. I can state 1st test we had signal longer on a road that wasn't so great with other weboost and a dead zone without. I state as of today because we'll go deep dead woods. This would shorten our drive for help if need.

P&P unit
Straight forward assembly. Placement and cable routing is up to you. Plug and play. More field testing to be sure it works as designed. Stay tuned….

Outward Bound
Only issue is the power source requires a cigarette lighter which GM no longer offers in their pickups.
