The Backwoods split is an all-time favorite for me. This board surfs pow with so much play and nimbleness. The directional taper allows me to ride a 152 with a pack and not have to worry about sinking my 5'6" 160lb self too much. It especially comes alive in tight trees and I've even taken it into the air a bit.

One of my favorite boards, I love the freeride shape that does more than meets the eye. I've sessioned everything from the fabled fields in BC to the steep Chutes of Telluride. Somehow this board which disguises itself as fun directional freeride board handles so much more. I'm not taking it into the park, but I'm not hesitating to hit hippie jibs and backcountry booters.

The Weston Backwoods is an absolute quiver killer for me. I ride it in all conditions at Killington in Vermont. Its favorite place to ride is tight birch glades, where it floats on powder thanks to its large nose and it slips effortlessly in between trees with a short tail. The rugged polyamid top sheet sheds snow, keeping the board light and nimble. Don’t let all of this talk about powder fool you though. The backwoods has plenty of camber underfoot for even the firmest of days here on the Ice Coast! I have put literally hundreds of days on my Backwoods snowboard and cannot recommend it enough!

Super fun board that can handle pretty much all conditions. I've been rocking the Backwoods here in the PNW and it has been awesome. Super nimble and floaty in the PNW pow. I always have a smile at the end of my runs. It’s crazy how well it floats. If you’re looking for a board that is awesome in the trees, can shred deep open bowls, and get to it on groomers, the Backwoods is for you.

Quiver Killer

Its a one stop shop with the backwoods. from tight trees and narrow couloirs to open bowls and steeps. from deep pow to choppy and variable conditions I have put the backwoods to the test and haven't been let down. its rugged top sheet is resistant to the normal wear and tear you would see with other boards and sheds snow so you don't get bogged down with extra weight on those spring days. When packing for a trip the backwoods is always my board of choice as it can handle anything you throw at it with ease!
