Why We Like The Vulpine TCS Tire

The Vulpine is a race-focused gravel tire that still works great as an everyday tire for mixed-surface rides and commutes. The tightly spaced center knobs encourage quick accelerations and low rolling resistance, while the outer edges use short blocks with wider spacing for a predictable feel in the turns. We've found the Vulpine to be quick rolling on everything from gravel to tarmac, yet there's still plenty of grip when we're grabbing the brakes or hammering up an out-of-the-saddle climb.

Fast on road and hard pack

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought these for my new gravel bike, and they are an excellent choice if your rides are mostly road and hard pack. There is very little rolling resistance on the road; I am almost as fast as I was on my very old road bike - of course I am not that fast.
