Huge pain

Unless your front wheel is incapable of being removed from your frame, you should not buy this rack. I got this a Kuat Trio, thinking that removing my wheel would be annoying but boy, was I wrong. I immediately traded it in for another Trio. Having the front wheel on requires you to lift the bike even higher to get it on the rack and this design forced you have hold the bike perfectly vertical in order to even start to get it into the restraint. Aside from the lack of usability, Yakima made the insane decision to not include the lock cores on their cable WHICH IS NOT REMOVABLE and is also poorly held in place so the end is likely to fall out and scratch your roof... The tool-less install was ok, but tool-less install also means tool-less removal by you or anyone else. TL;DR: buy almost any other rack, even if you have to pay more.

I have rely enjoyed this rack, it fits both my 29 and 26 inch tires perfectly. There is very little movement from side to side. It can be hard to hoist the bike up so make sure your car isn't too tall.
