Why We Like The Yeti SB140 CLR GX Eagle AXS 29in Mountain Bike
Lunch laps are definitely a menu staple here, and the new Yeti SB140 Lunch Ride is ready to take on anything we throw at it. Yeti’s engineers reworked the C/Series carbon layup for a better combination of torsional stability and flexibility while maintaining the time-tested dependability and responsiveness it is known for. Yeti’s patented translating pivot design of their Switch Infinity rear suspension changes direction as we push the bike through its travel for impressive amounts of traction for technical climbs and even more technical descents. Paired with a Fox Factory Float X rear shock, the SB140 LR boasts descending prowess that has us pushing the limits of what we thought a trail bike could do. With geometry designed around 29-inch wheels as well as size-specific chainstays and seat tube angles, this trail slayer has a consistent, nimble feel across the entire size range. A 160mm travel fork and a slack 65-degree headtube angle give the SB140 LR precision handling and stability at speed so we can hold our line whether we’re setting up to boost a rock drop or smashing through high-tech rocks and roots.
The SB140 Lunch Ride C3 GX Eagle AXS kit builds off of the ever-reliable 12-speed electronic SRAM GX Eagle AXS drivetrain for clean shifting no matter whether we’re riding loam in the Pacific Northwest or being sprayed with dust in the Southwest desert. A 160mm Fox Performance 36 fork has plenty of travel and torsional stability to carry us through big hits and has easy-to-use adjustments that allow us to dial in our suspension to our riding style without ending up with a headache. Crank Brothers Enduro Synthesis wheels are tuned to maximize grip up front and high-speed stability in the rear so we can slay our lines no matter how chundery the trail gets. Yeti designed the frame with plenty of room for a long dropper post on every size and spec’d the OneUp dropper, which allows us to adjust our travel by 10 or 20mm if we find ourselves needing a little less travel. We’re itching to start discovering new trails on the Yeti SB140 CLR GX Eagle AXS 29in Mountain Bike, and maybe we’ll get a little extra sendy while we’re at it.
*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level. Everything you could ever need

I bought this bike on black Friday for a steal. While I am fairly new to mountain biking, my buddy assured me everyone is going to think I am a doctor or dentist for spending this much on a bike without an engine. I am most impressed with the AXS wireless gear shifting system. The weight or lack there of the bike is incredible and the Fox Float DPX2 shock is next level. Even for advanced riders it seems this bike has all the features anyone could ever need. All I can hope for is that I get good enough to take advantage of all the bells and whistles.
