Awesome Hiking Boots
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 6
Great hiking boots. Nice leather uppers. Comfortable. A bit bulky for everyday use. Kind of look like tan hockey skates without the blades. Changing out to the crimson laces helps tone them down a bit. Thanks for including the extra laces Zamberlan.

Amazing boots
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I’m prepping for the High Sierra Trail and got these boots for training. They really are amazing. Comfortable right out of the box and no breaking in needed. For me, the most important thing is that they were grippy so that I’m not slipping and sliding on dirt and rock on steep inclines. These do just that — truly incredible craftsmanship. Hoping my husband invests in a pair too!

Best dang boot ever for my problem feet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 8.5
- Height:
- 5' 7"
- Weight:
- 142
First, these are backpacking boots and therefore “heavy.” However, they are not horribly heavy but maybe it’s what I expected. Second, I have narrow heels, extremely high arches and insteps and a very wide forefoot. And short Achilles’ tendons. It is nearly impossible to find ANY shoes that are comfortable and don’t make my toes go numb and hurt and burning pain in the balls of my feet. I wear an 8W generally and go up to 8.5 for running and hiking and snowboarding. You get the picture. I also generally wear a 39 EU. Heeding the advice of others I went with an 8.5 US (40.5 EU). They fit perfect. I had new custom inserts made at my local running store and swapped out the insoles. I hiked 5.5 miles day one in moderately technical trails in Colorado. Next day 4.4 miles equally as challenging and wet too. No slip, all grip! So dang comfortable. I actually thought “I wonder if people will notice if I wear these all the time! Maybe I should buy a second pair in the other color.” (I got the dark green ones and they are beautifully made!). Just can’t say enough about these!! Worth the $ to hike, backpack, snowshoe in comfort.

Great Boots - My Review on Sizing
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- 7
I am between a size 6.5 and 7. Typically I wear 6.5 in dress shoes and dress boots, however I wear a size 7 in Asics running shoes and a 7 in French dress shoes. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with a size 7 in these boots, which ended up being too big for my feet, even when I tried the boots on with a thicker wool sock. I am returning the 7 for a size 6.5. Hope this helps.

Perfect fit ladies size
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 9.5(42)
- Height:
- 5' 8"
- Weight:
- 142
According to size chart I am a 41or a size 9. After reading many reviews I ordered a 9.5. Or a 42. I have a medium width foot. The fit is perfect with ragg wool hiking socks. Firm ankle support and plenty of toe room. Beautiful leather and great grippy vibram soles.

Gorgeous
These are perfectly constructed gorgeous boots. Unfortunately I had to return them because they are just a little bit too heavy for me. If you're looking for a solid boot then this is the right choice for you.

Alaskan Tough
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 8.5
- Height:
- 5' 5"
- Weight:

These boots got me through an Extreme Alaskan hike. Walked in all types of different terrain. They kept my feet dry. True to size. They are expensive boots but? What price do you put on your feet?
