Ultra Rival 1x11 Gravel Bike

The aero frame design and road-inspired geometry of the 3T Ultra Rival 1x11 Gravel Bike allow us to ride with the same power and confidence as we do on smooth roads. Still, it has plenty of off-road adaptations to keep us comfortable riding over rough terrain. First and foremost, the vast tire clearance of 61mm allows us to choose the proper tire for whatever adventure we want to set out on, but eliminating the gap between the front tire and downtube provides exceptional airflow and minimal turbulence to keep us riding fast, even with big, bulky tires. Once the airflow is caught and redirected, it is picked up by the 60mm downtube neck to increase our speed further. We also like the minimalist crown shape for its increased strength and stiffness, allowing for a shorter fork length to help with steering and aerodynamics. 

The frame may be important, but the drivetrain we choose to operate makes or breaks the ride. With this gravel grinder, we are in total control of the SRAM Rival 1 x 11-speed drivetrain. Whether we’re riding down the paved path or climbing a huge gravel hill, the 40t chainring and 11-42t cassette provide a variety of gear ratios to conquer anything in our way, and the hydraulic disc brakes actually make stopping feel good when the time comes. As we roll out on the Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 wheelset with Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M tires, we are left with nothing to worry about other than the path ahead.
