Great puffer shorts
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Warmer than others I own. Only thing to be aware of is there's no fly zip. It zips on the legs, all the way up to the waist, both sides.

Really wanted to like these
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I really wanted to like these, but ended up returning. These would be awesome if they had a bit of a stretch, especially in the legs and crotch. Just doing some squats and mimicking ski leg movements, the fabric rides way up the legs, there are no stretch side panels and limited elastic at the waist. My first thought was these are going to blow out in no time just carving, and if they dont, I would be pulling down the legs and adjusting them all day. The pros are they are comfortable/warm to wear around the house/town and look good. The side zippers are nice to take the shorts off without removing my pants. If they were designed to be more movement-friendly, these have the potential to be an amazing product.

finally, a puffy for my hips and butt
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm a woman. i'm a hammock camper. and it's always my butt/hips/thighs that get cold first, even with an overquilt/underquilt, etc. i don't enjoy the restriction of long johns, the capri pants that BC released a few years ago w the quilted padding were the most uncomfortable pants i've EVER tried on, so bad i refused to even try sleeping in them. they have puffy mini skirts for women, but if i tried sleeping in them, they'd just end up as a draft collar around my waist. then i see an ad for these shorts. easily pulled on over camp shoes, or use the side zip. they even have *POCKETS* ::spins in her new puffy warm butt shorts:: i'm in love, and i'm excited to experiment with cutting weight in my over/underquilt setup now that i have concentrated insulation for my coldest zone. the large was sold out, so i went with the xl, and they're roomy. they might right up a little on the thighs at night, but that just means warmer hips!
