Why We Like The BioLite Head Lamp 325
The Head Lamp 325 is BioLite's lightest and most comfortable option for late-night visibility while camping and adventuring. The comfort-enhancing design starts with their 3D Slimfit construction. The light, bounce-free, and wicking headband has an unnoticeable feel, so we're more likely to keep it on our heads rather than around our necks. The small bulb, powered by a quick-recharging battery, has four different modes and dimming capabilities so we can find our way to camp or enjoy a story in the dark.

Short battery life
The battery life is the shortest I've ever seen. I've tested it a number of times. I'll charge it fully, use it for a couple hours one night, try to use it the next night and it's dead. Maybe I have a bad lamp, but there's no way I could depend on this on a two night camping trip.

The "No Slip Fit" Slips
After much research on head lamps, I narrowed it down to two choices, and I chose to go with the BioLite 325 because of the "No Slip Fit" claim. I wore it running today for the first time, and as soon as I started sweating, the lamp started slipping. I had to stop running to adjust the strap, making it tighter, not once but twice. Although I finally got the strap tight enough so that the lamp stopped slipping, it was hurting my head by the end of my run. This head lamp may not have a slipping issue when running in a cooler environment. However, since I live in a hot/humid environment 75% of the year, I not only won't able to test that any time soon, but I also have to purchase another head lamp to use now.

Best so far…
This is one of the best headlamps I have tried . As a forest firefighter, you’re in a dark tent a lot rummaging around for fresh clothing, toothbrush etc and you want both hands free. On the farm, it’s great and can fit over any headgear and for hunting the red lamp allows you to walk in the woods without a lot attention in early morning. Pro - different levels of brightness to conserve battery life - different flood lamp, spotlight and combined feature - red lamp so you don’t blind your companions while talking - adjustable angle of beam (this is the best feature IMO) - relatively lightweight - affordable Con - you’ll need a charging apparatus as there is no batteries to swap. Best I have tried so far, and I have tried a lot of them

Blinker Only or Non-working Controls
I found no controls to switch this "headlamp" to any other mode other than blink. If it is a headlamp, I found no control to switch it to that mode.

Worst headlamp EVER
I have the Biolite 325. It's by far the worst headlamp I have ever owned. I'd rather go back to a petzel with AAA batteries- it would be far more dependable.

Most comfortable headlamp
This is by far my favorite headlamp - it's plenty bright and so comfortable you forget it's on your head. I also love that it's rechargeable so I don't have to lug around batteries when I'm traveling. I wish I had this headlamp when I was a kid at summercamp and used to lug around those bulky headlamps that bounce around on your head when you walk. This is the perfect summercamp headlamp!

Good but - improvements needed
Nice colour and options and brightness. I think the power button is WAY too fiddly and small- especially when wearing gloves or if you have arthritic hands or other barriers to mobility. Please remember the world includes persons w disabilities or who are not able bodied. I also find the battery isn’t very long lasting. I use it daily. Thanks for your time.
