Worked great
Last February, after 10 or so years. the glue on my Ascension skins seemed to be sticking to everything but the ski bases. With only a few weeks left in my season I went looking for cheap replacements . While in Wilson Backcountry Sports the proprietor suggested reglueing. I was skeptical to say the least. However another customer said that she had reglued her skins successfully. After reglueing and letting it cure, I can say that my skins stick to the ski bases 'as good as new' and worked flawlessly for the next 4 weeks. Highly recommend. With the caviet that the process is critical to the finish. Do the heat and scrape method to remove the majority of the old glue, then iron and brown paper bag to get the residual off. When applying, spread as evenly as possible then use an iron and parchment paper to smooth and even out. Watch some YouTube videos. Do this outside if at all possible. I had to do this in a garage due to outside temps being below freezing and required frequent breaks for fresh air. The fumes are deadly. 1 tube was just enough for my application. 168 x 92 sized skis. Got new skis this year and I came onto this site to purchase new skins, decided to leave a review as I am very impressed with this product being available if you need to reglue your skins instead of needing to buy new ones.

This is the premium choice for regluing your skins. Does great tail touch ups or redo the entire length once it's torched.

Glue for skins
Skins are expensive, and the glue often deteriorates, but the skins are still good. expensive, and the glue often deteriorates, but the skins are still good. This glue is very easy to apply and restores your skins. The hard and messy part is removing the old blue.

The Gold Standard
The gold standard for skin glue. They've dialed in the tackiness. Sicks well to skis, but still able to rip without removing ski wax. Pulling skins apart works well too, even in colder temps.

Its tacky and renews your skins
the glue works. doing the work to reglue a skin is like pulling your nails out of a frostbitten toe as it turns black and begins to cease its existence.

The Gold Standard
My old skins gave up the glue so my options were get new skins or try this re-glue thing. Followed the simple directions and I am surprised and impressed with the results. This glue works well, doesn't come off on the ski, does pickup pine needles and debris like all other skins but not horribly. It's not too hard to rip the skin either, so on the whole I am very pleased.
