Tight fit (XL) and do not dry easily
Tight fit and do not dry easily. Like: warm, durable, consistent with the quality I expected. Dislike: The fit. I normally wear XL gloves. The X-Large fits the finger length, but they are just too tight around the palm to get on and take off. The cuff tighteners are too small to adjust while you are wearing the gloves. They did get wet on the inside from an afternoon of snow removal where the gloves were in the snow. The moisture seems to just stew in there because there does not appear to be a good way to dry them. I ended up turning them inside out as best I could and leaving them overnight in front of the fireplace. Thoughts for a different product: Make the liner a separate item that pairs with the shell. This would make donning the gloves easier, but might sacrifice performance. This would also make it easier to dry the gloves. Make the cuff tighteners a little larger and make the long enough to grab w teeth (at least). Add an additional tightener similar to the cuff tightener on the back of the palm to make it easier to don and remove.

Size Runs Small
These gloves are very comfortable and warm, but the size runs a bit small. According to Carhartt's size chart, If you normally wear a Large, order an Extra Large. Your normal size might fit, but the elastic cuff is very narrow and makes them very difficult to pull on. Also, the next larger size gives you a little more finger length, which you will appreciate.

"Insulated" sure; warm? not really.
I bought them for snowblowing, looking for warm and waterproof. It hasn't snowed yet, so I can't judge the waterproofness, but wearing them in 15F weather did not keep my fingers warm. Maybe my thumbs are mishapen - my other fingers fit fine, but the glove is much too long for me in the thumb. Should have tried them on in a store instead of looking for a good online deal.
