Good compressive fit, hold up well

Familiarity:: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased another pair of Competizione shorts last year and they are one of the best pair of shorts for the $$ I think have worn in a long time. Great compression, held up through many wash cycles, and comfortable for 3-4 hour rides. As with a lot of Castelli clothing, it tends to run on the small side, but I like shorts to provide a tighter fit. I would mark it as "between true to size and small"... (Their Race fit jerseys I generally size up to a large [38 in chest]). With this current design, I would consider this on of my main go-to shorts for early fall/spring/summer riding.
