Perfect pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the pants for my 10-year-old. The elastic waist gives some room for growth; it's light-weighted and water-proof and can definitely be worn daily.

Big in the waist, no belt loops, won't stay up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice material and pants, but the waist is too large for my kid and they won't stay on. They need belt loops! Had I looked closer before buying I might have noticed this, but I didn't. They seem to run a bit large. Hopefully I can return these.

Great for active kids- comfy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice light weight pant. I rated these slightly small as they run slightly shorter than other Columbia pants. Unfortunately no adjustable waist. My kid is 10 and 62 pounds. The 8 was too short and 10 was huge on waist and length.

Perfect choice!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants were exactly what I was looking for for my 7 yr old. They’re light weight, offer comfortable coverage, and are water resistant! The colors are both fun and neutral. The fabric is very easy to wash or wipe down if needed. Also very easy to travel with without taking up space.

Not for the skinny
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice pants, however, not great for my slender kid. The closure is a button with no way to cinch the waist.

Zippered pockets but no adjustable waist.
Bought these at the outlet. Was excited cause they have great pockets but the waist was not adjustable at all so they were way too big on the waist but the length was good. If you have a skinny kid, these won’t work.
