With the Deuter Trail Pro 36L Backpack in our gear closet, we're ready to load up and hit the mountain with our backpacking boots, mountaineering boots, or climbing shoes. With a close-to-body fit, the Trail Pro's spring steel frame distributes our load evenly for active pursuits while the open-pore back padding pumps air with every step, keeping our back cooler and drier as we traverse technical terrain or slog our way up switchback after switchback on our way to the summit. The 36-liter capacity is ideal for gear-heavy day trips or multi-day trips with ultralight gear, and the pack also features plenty of attachment points to carry our helmet, ice axes, and trekking poles outside our pack.

Excellent pack, watch the size if tall

This is a very well made pack, nice mesh back, solid materials, comfortable hip belt, nice rain cover, etc. However, I am 6' 1/2" tall, with back measurement right at the limit of size listed (53 cm/21 inches). I found when loaded with 25 lbs the straps came in too low, now looking for the extra length Deuter model. Otherwise would not have returned it.
