Great Pack
This is my first backpack for backpacking and thru-hiking. This is a very versitale pack and fairly light weight as well.

I really do like all the space and pockets but the fit is just a little awkward at some times but still one of my top packs.

Paragon for quick movements
The pack is sturdy and well built. It functions well when there is minimal load but the chest strap has a tendency to ride up when the load is more than 30lbs.

Perfect for me
I bought this pack before I became a member of Expert Voice and I thought I got a good deal on it before seeing the price here! I did a ridiculous amount of research on packs for my upcoming Appalachian Trail thru-hike, ultimately settling on this one. Since it’s the dead of winter, I haven’t taken it out for a shakeout hike yet, but I’ve put all of my gear, including a bear canister, in it and everything fits easily. The pack is too heavy to be considered an ultralight, but it feels incredibly stable and secure for its light weight. I’ve worn it to go up and down the stairs from the basement to the second floor for about twenty minutes of work and it is perfectly comfortable. Can’t wait to try it out on the trail this spring!

Great High Volume Bag
Bought this after trying on most packs in this volume range from Gregory, Osprey, and Deuter. I use a frameless UL pack for summer backpacking in the Appalachians, and got the Paragon 58 to replace my winter pack. Used it several times now with 25-35 lb loadouts and I love it! It swallows a ton of bulky gear and the frame and suspension system keep it comfy. Looking forward to many more miles.

Stands the test of time
I've had a Paragon 58 for a couple of years now, and after regular use I can confidently recommend this pack. It's laid out intuitively with lots of helpful straps and loops to fix things to the outside of it, it's comfortable for longer hikes, and it hasn't needed any repairs or fixes after regular year-round use.

It was able to carry the load and then some. Well made. It was recommended to me from an avid hiker and outdoorsmans. The pocket for reaching my water bottle without dismount was a plus. A great buy.

Adjusts in so many ways to make it the most accommodating pack I own.

Great backpacking pack
Excellent features, used on an overnight so far, with minimal base weight but was easy to pack and comfortable even over rougher steeper terrain. The support was excellent and the side load with helpful to get to things. Probably solid for anyone who wants a very solid pack at a reasonable price, a good pack for anyone. Look at your base weight when picking a pack!

Wanting to know the best way to put a paragon 58 into a checked bag? I am wanting to make sure the hip belt doesn’t get damaged.

Gregory Paragon 58L. Along the back INNER wall, at the frame top, in the corners(resevoir would be in between), there are single "toggles" similar to those used in sleeping bag divider. What are they for? I would include a photo if allowed.

What is the storage capacity of the sleeping bag compartment? I have a synthetic sleeping bag that compressed to 12L. Would that fit in the sleeping bag compartment?

Hi - when this is packed down can it qualify as a carry-on for airline travel? Thanks!
