These are the best shorts I own and worth the price. Very comfortable and I’ve now gotten a pair in each color (10” in Carbon color, 8” in the other two). The fabric of the Silencer is fairly light and breathable, with some stretch. It also seems durable as I’ve had these a couple years, wearing them regularly, and they show no noticeable signs of wear. I especially like the 8” length for packing on trips because they’re versatile enough to look a little dressy. They work equally well whether worn casually with a t-shirt out on a hike or paired with a polo to go golfing or out to dinner. I’ve frequently gotten comments from people on how nice they look. (I also have a pair of the Radikl shorts, which are uber comfortable for hiking, etc. but the fabric and cut have a much more casual look.) The Silencer has the standard Kuhl drop in pocket, which works great for a phone or glasses. Try these — you won’t regret it.
