Why We Like The Lenz 6.1 Heat Sock

The Lenz 6.1 Heat sock pretty much has it all—merino wool, a compression fit, and battery-powered heat for toasty toes under our ski boots. It's compatible with all types of Lenz lithium packs (not included), which can be attached to the socks with press studs on the waistband.

Sizing is Way Off

I have purchased several pairs of 5.1 Lenz socks, always ordering the Small that fit nicely. I wear a size 7.5-8 US women's shoe and was interested in the 6.1 as I thought it would be more formfitting and might not become as stretched out over time. The 6.1 in size Small was very large in the toe box and heel. The toe box was so roomy that there was extra material on the side of my toes that would have bunched had I tried to put foot into a ski boot. Material is also kind of slinky feeling and very different from previous versions; however, this might work well for a race boot. Though I am disappointed in the sizing, Lenz socks will keep your feet warm on the coldest of days and the phone app works well. If using for skiing, these socks seem to hold up for a season but in my experience need to be replaced almost yearly due to stretching and wear to the toe area.
