Why We Like The Garneau CB Neo Power RTR Bib Short
With a lightly compressive material cut in an endurance-specific silhouette, the CB Neo Power RTR Men's Bib Shorts are definitely in the running for the top spot of Louis Garneau's long-distance shorts. The shorts are made with the titular CB Neo Power, representing a step up from the standard Neo Power shorts' Power + Lycra material. CB Neo Power's gently compressive properties help to stabilize your muscles, reducing the fatiguing impact of micro-oscillations and the corrective stabilizing your body undertakes to counter them. Less stabilizing means less energy expended, so you've got more left to put into the pedals when the fatigue's piling up after mile 80.
The included Motion Airgel chamois features several comfort-minded elements. Gel inserts, smooth-transitioning multi-density foams, and a stretch panel lets either wing move independently of the other, helping to accommodate the pedal stroke and minimize chafing.

Don't buy
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Got these at the start of summer. Started off biking shorter distances and they weren't bad, average bib. After my first long ride with them (72 miles, Tahoe lake lap), when I went to remove the bibs, they were nearly stuck to my skin due to the fact that the stitches had actually penetrated my skin. They have a x like cross stitch on them and from my mid thigh to my waist I actually was cut from the bibs and bleeding. I immediately stopped using the bibs at this point. I will never again be buying any Louis Garneau products
