Mammut Madris ML Vest
A sporty mid-layer for hiking and everyday wear. The Madris Vest features a special, double-woven material that is soft and comfortable on the inside while being robust and wind-repellent on the outside. The water-repellent treatment is PFC-free. A chest pocket made from contrast material and two slit pockets offer storage space. The practical Madris Vest can be put on quickly and is great for transitions as well as an insulating layer on cold days.

Light & Warm
This vest is well-constructed and survived a 2-week expedition to the Peruvian Andes. It kept me warm even at altitude (4000-5000m) and 15'c while allowing unrestricted movement on hikes and rock scrambles. The only 2 things that took a bit of getting used to are that the front pockets are about rib height, and the arm holes were slightly snug the first day. Note that I sized down to get a slimmer fit on the vest. I am usually a Medium and purchased a Small (6'2" 165 pounds and slim with long arms).

Great light/mid thickness layer
Good mid layer for skiing /snowboarding or any activity that you still want "unbunched" arms and not that wadded /thick layer restrictive feeling. Pretty thin for the amount of warmth it provides.
