Trestles Elite Eco 20 Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Synthetic
The Trestles Elite Eco 20 Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Synthetic is a fully recycled version of one of the most popular synthetic bags on the market, which also happens to be Marmots top of the line synthetic bag, the Trestles Elite. The Eco does not skimp on warmth, comfort, or pack-ability despite the recycled products. The HL-ElixR Eco insulation traps body heat with impressive loft, retains loft when wet to keep you warm, and packs down to a compact and lightweight size. Additionally the ripstop outer can handle abrasions and normal wear and tear, while the soft taffeta lining makes sure the bag is comfortable next to skin.
By keeping both the regular and long lengths of this bag well under 3 pounds Marmot has created a great backpacking or weekend camping bag that doesn't quite sneak into the ultra light category. Additionally the solid European norm ratings make it a great option as a high alpine summer bag or a bag that will thrive during the shoulder seasons.

I wasted my money!
It didn't stand up in a 35 degree night! I was shaking cold! I would not recommend this sleeping bag!

Not a winter bag
The comfort level would be mid 40s and 50s. I tried camping in the 20s and I was absolutely freezing, I had to wear full outdoor gear to bed. I plan on buying another bag for winter, but this perfect for fall and spring. The overall quality of the bag is really nice and comfortable.

Great bag for the price and lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just did a winter overnight backpacking excursion and it kept me plenty warm. I especially like the hood on the bag for extra warmth. Would buy again!

Comfortable and roomy bag
I ordered this for my husband, who wanted more room in his sleeping bag. He planned to ditch a mummy bag to accomplish that, but he absolutely loves this one. He has plenty of room to turn over without taking the whole sleeping bag with him.

Excellent all-around bag for temps above freezing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have spent almost a dozen nights in my 20-degree Trestles and I think it's great, especially when nights are in the 55 to 35-degree range. I have used it backpacking, rafting and car camping. There is plenty of hip and torso room, the zipper system is great, it's plenty roomy for me: I'm 5-10 & 165. It becomes a warm mummy and I'm confident with long underwear and a hat it's warm below freezing. The bag stuffs very small for a synthetic bag but retains loft well. I have one fancier $$ down bag that is better, but the Trestles is the best value. It blows away all my synthetic North Face bags from the 90s & 00s.

I am a warm, happy giant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is incredible. I haven't been completely enclosed in a sleeping bag since I was maybe 15 years old. At 6'6"/240lbs, with size 15 feet, at least some part of my body was going to be wedged against something. Not here! The generous footwell is a game changer -- my feet stick straight up with zero pressure from any side. My entire body fits in the bag, completely zipped, with inches to spare. All that, and the bag still stuffs into a ball smaller than my head (and I mean stuffs! No folding or gentleness required, you can just mash it into the stuff sack). Throw in the fact that it is generously warm while staying so light, and this is my go-to pack year-round in the Cascades. Cannot recommend enough!

BEST BAG EVER!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this a lot, and I am a cold sleeper! Even in Florida, I use this bag, and I TRUST it to keep me warm. I hate being chilled in the night!
