Such comfort
Perfect fit after trying out many different brands. So happy with the comfort and ease of putting them on. It’s amazing how good your feet feel even after a day at work.

Excellent all around hiking shoes!
Wore mine to work the first day I had them, and also for a nature therapy hike at the New York Botanical Gardens. Felt as though I had clouds on my feet, but clouds with great traction.

Always love my Merrell’s!

Excellent purchase for hiking trails!
I hiked with my grandchildren at Saguaro National Park. We saw the petroglyphs at Signal Hill. They provide good ankle support.

I tried these on, they felt good, the sole is a little stiff, but that’s how these shoes are supposed to be. My concern was the tall shaft around the ankle, felt like it might start to rub and irritate my ankle (even with good wool socks) which has happened with other hiking boots. This might just be an issue with me and my foot position when I walk? For reference, I have slim ankles. I’m a 7.5, got an 8 which was perfect size. Returned these and bought the OBOZ Sawtooth low hiking boots - those were GREAT from day 1, wore them on the plane and hiking around Zion, NO pain, would consider wearing them as a day to day shoe.

Just right
These boots are just the right weight and the sole is perfect for the trails I take. I was very impressed at how comfortable they are on my feet.

Lasts About A Season
Our farm is 80 plus acres of trecking from May through November. They are comfortable, a good fit, the first pair I bought lasted 4 years before problems started to occur. I noticed the second pair required minimal breaking-in and started to give out after 5 months, leaking in water by November. I have purchased again for a third time, if the results are the same I'll have to find something else.

Great shoe but missing extra cushioning layer
Great strong shoe but needs a thicker cushion layer. Wonderful tread layer but part of it cuts out cushion layer that could create soar feet on long hikes.
