Above and Beyond My Expectations!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been holding off reviewing my AutoPilot 120 for a year and a half. I wanted to put it through the grind of a full tournament season and many different weather conditions. After completing a full season, I am amazed with this kayak. The stability of the primary and secondary are unmatched to other competitor's kayaks. Spot lock on the MinnKota trolling motor is a game changer. Having the ability to sit in one spot while focusing on docks, brush piles, and deep water is vital when the wind wants to float you off your spots. There is plenty of room in the cockpit and in the stern of the kayak for so many accessories. If you are looking for a kayak that can do it all, look no further than the AutoPilot 120 or 136. You will not be disappointed.

Complete Game CHANGER
One of those things that just changes your perspective on fishing forever. Spot Lock is unreal in so many situations, both fresh and salt, and combined with plenty of tank well space and the stability to stand while fishing, this is the ultimate fishing kayak bar none!

Reliability and Stability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been fishing out of the AP120 for about 2 years now and I love it. I like to stand and fish most of the time, so being able to do that and control the kayak using the included remote is amazing. While you won't win many races, the motor with spotlock is handy when fish are stacked up offshore. Being able to hit the spotlock let's me focus on measuring or weighing a fish as well.

Game Changer Fishing Kayak
I own this kayak for 3 years now and it is the best fishing kayak out there. Having a Minn Kota trolling motor with spot lock technology is a game changer. I focus on my fishing all day hands free, feet free and don't waste any time on the water. Highly recommended!

Happy Angler
This is our 3rd Old Town Kayak and as a family we love them! Both the PDL and AP models are very well thought out and designed extremely well.

Outer Banks Inlet/Soundside Best kayak for this...
Ok so this kayak , I have the 136 , is superior to anything else in tide waters. When dealing with current and wind , it just can not be beat. You do not have to drift fish. I point the kayak where I want it to go, and I turn the speed up till I barely start to move and then I just fish a popping cork for reds. Any direction I choose. Its got a Dakota Lithium 100 AH battery on it which is incredible. After 8 hours on the water , I still have 80 percent of battery left. I have a hummingbird 1198 c on a dakota lithium 18 ah battery and that works all day , no issues. Spot Lock is great , working marsh shorelines , incredible. If I have to paddle , it paddles very well , use a very long paddle. Its a bit wide for stability. Its heavy , so I trailer it and I off load at docks. I do not use kayak launch sites , they are not designed for the kind of outfit I'm running. There are some limitations with current and wind in combination , I wish it had 55 pounds thrust over the 45 , not sure why it does not , and the head should have been an I Pilot Link head instead of just I Pilot. Then it would be perfect. I will ask questions about this.

Finally, yet I want more
This kayak is simply great in so many ways. It offers the features that I've been wanting for several years in so many ways - electric, quiet, controllable, powerful - what a pleasure to use.

Great kayak but not without its quirks!
I’ve had this kayak for a little over a year and it’s a great fishing kayak. It does have a few problems though. All the bolts come loose from the rudder mount. A bolt from the seat came loose too on the last trip out. Front hatch is definitely not water tight. Also the trolling motor has an issue now due to being in spot lock and the wiring being wrapped around the trolling motor shaft. It will slow down and then speed back up again if I slightly turn the motor direction with the remote. It’s still a good fishing kayak though just needs a few improvements.

Absolutely!
Purchased in May 2021, I upgraded from a paddle kayak when I found my AP120. I love to fly fish and this kayak allows me to slowly troll while standing and tossing flies around. Also the ability to lock into one spot and fish without an anchor is a game changer. The peddle kayaks are nice but not an option for me because I really enjoy standing while fishing most of the time with the option to sit when desired. Kayak is very stable and I feel completely balanced while standing. I use the lead acid battery for the motor and I'm able to fish two full days on the water sun up to sundown without having to recharge the battery. I've taken it out approximately 25 times in 5 months now and absolutely love it! Remote is very user friendly and if you hook into a big one you can quickly turn the motor off easily with a push of a button while standing if the fish makes a run directly under your Yak. The only downside is the kayak is heavy especially with a lead acid battery, but a good kayak cart takes care of that. highly recommend.

Great for crappie brushpiles
My new best friend. I can't say enough about the hands free advantages. Spotlock is a game changer.
