Nearly perfect fatbiking pants
I picked these up for winter fatbiking. Combined with a merino base layer, they are nearly perfect. They keep the cold air at bay and breath really well, like I haven't seen from other pants. Nearly perfect. As another reviewer mentioned, after less than 10 rides, the seated area has started piling. Excellent otherwise.

Comfortable and Versatile
I've enjoyed these pants quite a bit. I've used them for hiking, climbing, ski touring, front country skiing on warm days, and as a travel pant abroad. Stretch material allows for great freedom of movement and zippered-cuffed ankles keep things nice and tapered. The material has some weather-resistance which really adds to their versatility for when the weather turns unexpectedly. Wind and light rain resistance was adequate. Breathability is great and they remain comfortable during exertion. I like the stretch quality in the waist, but would personally like to see the waistband to be a bit more structured. Not bulky enough to interfere with a harness, but a bit taller and stiffer for a secure fit. Sometimes I find the belt not secure enough to keep the pants up tight. Overall, very versatile pants that are great for a large range of activities with a comfortable fit.

Go-to Alpine/Winter/Shoulder Season Pants
The Cirque Lite are super comfortable and without skimping on mobility and functionality. The Cirque Lite flexes expertly, and the weather resistance has held up well. They would perform just as well in a yoga class as they would bouldering or scrambling up a mountain. I sometimes forget I'm wearing performance pants and lounge around the house in these. That being said, there's certainly room for improvement on these pants. The built-in belt can be finicky at times, the fit is more snug than I would expect, they have smaller than average pocket size, and there are some durability concerns. The fabric has piled around the crotch without major use. Overall, I would still highly recommend these pants, though I would say these are best for your highest performance days when you need a fast and light pair of technical pants that can repel some wind and rain along the way.

Vents
The fabric feels great. The zipper hand pockets r great. The pocket on the right leg is positioned very badly that whatever u put in it can get pinched by ur knee which is not comfortable. Im 5-10 i tried size M. There r no vents on the back of the knees.

Versatile, Functional, Comfortable
These pants have been an excellent addition to my outdoor gear. I use them for a wide range of activities, including climbing, mountaineering, and hiking, and they perform consistently well. They keep me warm, block wind effectively, and do a great job repelling moisture, making them ideal for various conditions. These pants are versatile, comfortable, and allow for great mobility, which is essential for the activities I do. My only critique is with durability. I noticed some wear starting to develop in the crotch area after only a few times wearing them. While this hasn’t impacted overall performance yet, it’s disappointing to see wear develop so quickly. I'm still hopeful they will last a fair amount of use. Despite this, the Cirque Lite Pants remain a favorite for their performance and versatility, and I would still recommend them to anyone looking for reliable softshell pants for demanding outdoor adventures!

Subpar belt
Love the pants, but would much rather prefer traditional belt loops. Or at least the ability to tighten down the belt without it going off to one side. It's quite annoying.

Expedition Ready Pants
I bought these pants for ski touring, mountaineering, and backpacking and I have been nothing but impressed. The material is strong but still breathable and it repels water well. On a recent trip to Peru they kept me warm but also cool during the day. I am very impressed by how well these pants maintain a good temperature. This has quickly become one of my favorite pairs of pants. I am 5’11” 150lbs and a medium fits me great.

redesigned pockets are alot smaller.
They got redesigned and pockets are smaller now where I can't use pants pockets with gloves like last pair of cirque lite pants.

Great pants with a flaw, piling in the back
I have used these pants for exploring outdoors, winter activities, travelling and casual wear. When others wear sublayers or avoid going out, I can wear these at -30C (-22F), light rain, windy conditions, or in rough unexplored trails/forests. I have also used it to travel in Europe and wore it in restaurants or going out. I however avoid wearing it in high temperatures (more than 35C / 95F), heavy downpours or when I will be in long direct contact with the snow. They are also not comfortable when chilling, you will prefer lighter and stretchier pants. These pants will give you the confidence to go anywhere, either summiting peaks, going offgrid or just having fun with the kids in the snow. The value is amazing. They are not forever pants though - its only defect is that it piles heavily in the back, around the sitting area. Not sure what is the cause, if it is the fabric or other. It cannot be the washing or drying method since it does not pile elsewhere. I will still wear it for a couple of months but the piling up issue does not give me confidence to replace it with another Cirque pants

Fit well, not durable
I bought these pants less than two weeks ago and have worn them for a total of 6 days in the mountains climbing snow and easy rock. After the first day the fabric under my harness legs was pilling. Now the entire front of the pants and seat are heavily pilled up. In comparison, my 3 year old Cirque Lite pants have seen 100s of field days and show less wear. The cuff zipper also doesn't stay zipped when using bungee to keep the cuffs over boots and this allows snow up in the cuff and in boots.
