The hood fits around my hat!!!
I bought the hood to take on a two week trip backpacking through England, France and Italy. Now I know why women get to excited for dresses with pockets!! The hood has an elastic draw string that fits perfect around your hat!! It's the best, your hat stays on and the weather stays out!!! Size is perfect and it was great for a damp cool day in London!

They made it even better.
I loved my first one to death, ski touring, beach days, cycling and everything in between. I only had two complaints, the zipper eventually failed (probably because I zipped it around my baby too many times) and the waist draw string got caught on things. So I was pretty excited when I bought a new one and it arrived with a burlier zipper and a draw string that keeps the loose end of of the way.

Great for all weather and backpacks.
I wore this jacket everyday for about 3 weeks while traveling through Switzerland and Italy. It's super light weight which means it isn't going to keep you warm below about 45 degrees, but it's super flexible which means it's awesome as a layer. Throw on a t-shirt and fleece under this and you're layered for everything the day has in store. The fabric allows the rain to roll right off while maintaining breathability. I only tossed my raincoat on top when it was a non-stop downpour and I needed to stay outdoors. Otherwise, this hoodie will shed water really well as a light outer shell. The chest pocket is handy for tickets or credit cards. The side pockets offer plenty of space for lightweight gloves. The ONLY complaint is the hoodie drawstring. It works well to keep the hoodie in place, but I found it a tad lacking when it came to closing the open area where your face is exposed. Then is only minor if you're wearing a hat of any sort. I wore a heavy photography backpack almost everyday and the jacket showed no signs of wear even with constant rubbing.

Breathable
Best feature is the Breathability of this water resistant layer. It doesn't feel like a plastic bag covering you but it has keep me dry in light rain conditions.

New favorite jacket
The Ferrosi is an almost perfect jacket. Lightweight, stretchy, perfect fit, and sheds water and wind well. What's more to ask?

Feels great
The material is much thinner than what I was expecting from a soft shell - this turned out to be a plus though. Blocks most wind but isn't clammy at all. Does catch on branches when because of the stretch, but it's very durable and hasn't gotten a scratch. The jacket is quite loose in the stomach on me since I'm tall and thin - but you want this in a windbreaker for proper air circulation. The bottom can be cinched down with an elastic draw cord when it gets cold. The sleeves are a little too short for me at 6'3 with a large.

Runs small but otherwise perfect!
I've been researching the perfect "wind blocker" shell all winter and settled on the Ferrosi over the more expensive and tacti-cool First Spear style. I'm typically a medium in outwear in anything aside from Patagonia but I sized up on this one given recent reviews noting a slimmer fit. I'm glad I did. At 5'11" and 175 lbs the large fit perfectly, with room to layer in a fleece or even my lightest down puffer when not moving. This is the perfect addition to an outerwear collection if you already have your hardshell and insulating layers covered. I've been wearing it in the early mornings when I check trail cameras for turkeys, usually in the low 50s, and it's perfect for keeping the chill off with a long-sleeve under. The breathability is impressive. My only gripe is I wish they'd kept the thumb loops but I'm not having an problems personally with the cuffs yet. Great product!

Great all around jacket
I used this jacket for an 11 day trip climbing Denali. It was the perfect layer to keep you warm while moving on the glaciers and fight off the chill. Even wore it on the summit day as an outer layer. The only thing I noticed is the jacket material started to pile up where my pack was sitting. Over all a great jacket with the right amount of stretch. I am 5'6 150lbs and the small is a perfect fit. I have a 6' wing span and the sleeve length is perfect. I have another Ferosi in a medium and it drowns me.

Yes, I would buy another Men's Ferrosi Hoodie again!
Great Fit for me. Ranger Green Color is nice too. I like the solid color. UPF 50 is a plus for sun protection!
