Comfy and warm base layer for skiing on those very cold days, used these in Tahoe and Colorado for prob 12-15 days last year. Wear well, don't stretch out. The ankles aren't so tight, so they're easy to pull up over your calf to make room for your ski boots.

Excellent go-to piece
I'm overall very happy with these pants. They're light, warm, comfortable. So far I've worn them as leggings under a dress, under soft shell pants while cross country skiing, and for lounging around the house. They are sheer when stretched, but I didn't expect them to perform like yoga pants so am not disappointed about that trait. I'm long-legged and they are long enough, which is always a bonus.

Thick and Breathable Leggings
These leggings had terrible reviews but I loved the Vigor Jacket so I figured I'd risk it. Other reviews said that it was thin and see-through. Not true. Buy the right size and they wont overstretch. The only place I would say that it becomes Slightly see-through is in the knee when I bend because that's where I stretch these leggings the most. Super warm, super breathable, and softer than Smartwool. They even have a zippered pocket. The reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because the waistband is cumbersome. It's thick and bunched like sweatpants. It's better than leggings that have overly stiff elastic (like REI's) that dig into the waist, but worse than elastics that are more flush with the rest of the legging like Smartwool. Overall, these are great leggings for an active lifestyle.

Base layer
I don't know what I was expecting when I ordered these but I feel a tad disappointed. They have a waffle like insulation/texture next to skin which is fine but they are a bit sheer (see pic). They are comfortable. They fit next to skin and I think would work well as a base layer under rain paints or ???. I have worn them in public with an insulated skirt but I wouldn't feel comfortable just wearing them as is in public. I'm 5'8 and 138 lbs and wear a size 8 and the medium fits great.
