I have several pairs of these pants in different colors and I love them. Have worn them for 3 or more years bro consistently. Very versatile, very comfortable, and as usual with Patagonia, very well made. I mostly wear them for casual everyday wear, but also hiking and other outdoor adventures. They provide a cleaner look than most “hiking” pants while still being very comfortable ( I’m not a huge fan of jeans as I can’t move well in them). Love the thigh pocket for my phone, especially when in the car. The material has slight stretch which makes it even easier to move without them having to be baggy. I’ve even worn them for yoga on occasion! They do stretch out over several wears and get a little loose in the waist until the next wash, though. The waist drawstring comes in handy! The material is thin, so they are not the best in cold weather, and probably not the best for any off-trail hiking through briars or rock scrambling. I just don’t see them taking that type of abuse. For on trail hiking and backpacking or general travel use they are great! I’m am 5-11, an athletic 175 lbs with a true waist measurement of 34, and the 32x32 fit great. Many pants of this type have the modern fit that is way too tight in the thighs and crotch area with a low rise in back that makes them feel like they’re falling down. These pants are not that way and make this very picky middle-aged man very happy.

Yes, lightweight pants are great. SPF 50 is what I need, and the color is fine. I wish there were extra belt loops. I am a 38 waist. Tailoring is a little relaxed for my taste. I prefer “Straight “ or Slim. I have 2 pairs though, as is.

I like these and much as Kuhl Renegade Rock. No complaints. Pretty much the complete, non hard total hard core outdoor pants (Haglofs rugged outdoor) that you can wear on most occasions.

I rarely see slim figured physique reviews. Here is one. For context I'm 5' 10" and 135 lbs and I generally wear a size 28 in all pants, and in this case I also purchased a 28/Reg which appears to be a 32" inseam (pant length). My actual waist measures 29" and these pants comfortably sit right on my waist line without a belt or anything. These pants are ultra comfortable. I wore them for a trip to Disneyland and boy I'm glad I did because they are nearly weightless and soft to the touch and did I say comfortable? Industrial Green is a great color too! These pants serve dual purpose, wear them casually to work or any outdoor outing for that matter. These are fantastic

I have worn these hiking on 3 trips so far. They have become my favorite pants. One trip was cold, 17 degrees, one was in the snow, and one was in a cold 41 degree rain. The pants were comfortable every trip. I love these.

These are made well and have a modern fit that looks in place wherever you wear them. They're made with a comfortable, lightweight fabric with a bit of stretch. But not so lightweight that they totally lack durability or feel. The zipper wallet and thigh pockets are nice details. The short length seems real close to a 30" inseam that I usually wear.

Bought a new pair as wanted a different color and loved the old version. Bought same size but these are WAY tighter. Closer inspection of the label says slim fit, but didn't even know these came in different fits. Explains why they don't fit the same as my older pair.
